JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a hardworking plumber helper to assist our staff with basic plumbing installations and repairs. In this role you will be supporting our qualified mechanics with their daily tasks. You may also be required perform basic plumbing services such as replacing toilet rings and clearing sink and bathtub blockages.
To ensure success as a plumber helper, you should have moderate physical fitness, a strong desire to learn, and detailed knowledge of basic plumbing tools. Ultimately, a top-class plumber helper reduces the time it takes to finish a job by handling smaller tasks and assisting with major repairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Keep work van clean and stocked with parts and materials
- Packing and sorting plumbing equipment for each job.
- Fetching tools and buying additional parts for installation
- Cutting opening of walls and structures to expose pipes
- Assisting senior Plumber with plumbing installations and repairs.
- Replacing faucet washers and toilet wax rings.
- Measuring, cutting, and threading black or no hub pipes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be in modest fitness and good moral character
- Maintain emotions in High-Stress emergency situations.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing equipment and Tools.
- Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Proven work experience as a Plumber Helper.
- Must know math and be able to use a tape measurer
- Ability to work after-hours and on weekends if needed.
- Must be helpful with a strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must maintain a valid NYS Drivers License
